Waste minimization and re-use is a topic which is high on the agenda of public and government alike. An increase in a number of waste can now be utilized for power generation, but before these wastes can be used a full range of laboratory tests are required. The typical tests performed which MSS can offer are as follows:
- Heavy Metals
- Calorific Value
- Ash
- Moisture
- Halogens
- Sulphur
- Carbon
- Biomass Content.
Biomass is performed by MSS using the modified CEN/TS 15440 dissolution method which gives a biomass content for the waste fuel.
