Marchwood Scientific Services offers a range of laboratory and monitoring services for organizations engaged in the processing, storage and transportation of industrial wastes.

These include operators of waste to energy plants, incinerators processing municipal, clinical and animal waste and other biofuels, landfill sites, waste producers, waste carriers, consultants and regularity authorities.

We are able to undertake analysis of wastes in order to classify the materials as hazardous non hazardous or inert required by the waste management legislation. The suite that MSS can offer is as follows:

 

  • Total Organic Carbon ( TOC )
  • Polychlorinated Biphenyls ( PCB )
  • pH
  • Loss of Ignition ( LOI )
  • Mineral Oil
  • Acid Neutralisation
  • Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl benzene, Xylenes ( BTEX )
  • Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons ( PAH ) 

Leachate analysis to the EN leachate test then analysed for the following:

 

  • Metals
  • Phenol Index
  • Sulphate ( SO4 )
  • Dissolved Organic Carbon ( DOC )
  • Total Dissolved Solids ( TDS )

 

In addition to the laboratory analysis of collected samples, MSS can provide a range of on-site monitoring services, these include:
