Contract Research & Method Development
In the analytical services business it is very important to keep pace with the need for new tests. This can be driven by such factors as new impending legislation, commercial product development and environmental concerns.
MSSL has always recognised this need and continually invests in new equipment and resources to develop new test methods. The company has a team of scientists that are dedicated to research and method development whether this relates to in-house methods or assisting clients with tests for their own products or processes.
The equipment that MSSL has available for method development is currently as follows with items continually being added to the portfolio-
2 of the latest and most up to date Thermo-DFS Dual Aquisition High Resolution GCMS
2 Waters-Micromass High Resolution GCMS
3 Triple Quad LCMSMS
2 Triple Quad GCMSMS
2 QTOF LCMS
ICPMS Triple Quad
plus a wide variety of additional equipment.
MSSL believes in engaging with clients at an early stage to ensure that the requirements of a new method are fully met. Normally the instrumentation can be sourced from the existing portfolio but sometimes new equipment needs to be assessed and purchased. In addition to developing a method MSSL senior staff can assist with the training of clients personnel if they require to install the test method in-house.
